The other place that Chocolate visited in America is San Antonio, Texas. Texas is our biggest state. It is in the southern part of our country. San Antonio is a big city in Texas. It has a river that runs through the city. They have created a Riverwalk around the river that has restaurants, shops and hotels surrounding it. It is a beautiful city.

          Chocolate did a bit of travelling around America.

His first trip was to Niagara Falls. This is a beautiful falls that ia on the border of the United States and Canada. These pictures are from the Canadian side. If you look, you can see the big boats in the water. They give you an idea of how big the falls actually are.

Fluffy went to a talent show at Wen Ya

Fluffy watched the talent show in Wen Ya Elementary School.
Students at Wen Ya cared about the problem of malaria in Africa.
They planned this fundraising program with the hope that the money collected can help buy some more nets for the people in Africa.

Fluffy and Bobo visited the Village of Monsters

 

 

Fluffy and Bobo visited the Village of Monsters last weekend.

There are so many scaring monsters there. 

Fluffy was so scared that he always stayed with Bobo.

Finally they bought a bag of peanuts.

Fluffy liked the peanuts better than the monsters.

Fluffy and Shang went to a wedding party in Kaohsiung

Fluffy went to the second wedding party in Kaohsiung.
Kaohsiung is the second largest city in Taiwan.
It takes 90 minutes to drive there from Chiayi City, my hometown.
I am the Flower girl and my younger brother is the Page boy.
The wedding banquet was so delicious.  
The banquet finished late so we fell asleep on our way home.

Fluffy, Jinyu and her brother went to Auntie's wedding party.

Fluffy said the bride was so beautiful and the wedding gown was so bright.

Isabella takes Chocolate home to visit

           Isabella had a great visit with Chocolate. They played together a lot. They loved to dance to
           music.  They also played with Isabella's Sponge Bob. Do you play with Sponge Bob or watch him
           on television?

An Asian Storyteller visits St. Pius X.

                 We had an Asian Storyteller come to our school. He told us wonderful stories from your
                 part of the world. He played music ans sang throughout his stories. The children loved
                 listening to him. Chocolate enjoyed meeting him as well.

Chocolate spends time with Connor

This is Connor. He took Chocolate home for a fun visit, too.
Here they are on their way home in Connor's moms mini van.

 These are Connor's parents. They were very nice to Chocolate
and took good care of him while he was visiting their house.

This is a picture of Chocolate visiting Connor's penguin from his project.
As you can see, everyone did something different. It was a wonderful project.
The kids had a lot of fun making their own penguin.

Chocolate ended up in another basketball hoop!! This time it was outside when it was cold and there was snow on the ground!
He and Connor still had fun playing basketball. Connor's mom made them hot chocolate when they came inside.

Kate M. takes Chocolate on a trip

Kate M. took Chocolate on a trip to Ohio. Ohio is the state that is to  East of Indiana. Kate's Grandma  and Grandpa live in Ohio, so Kate and her family drove over to visit. Kate's Grandparents live on a beautiful lake. Chocolate loved the visit.

While the family was in Ohio, they went to
Cincinnati and spent a few days playing at Great Wolf
Lodge. It is an indoor water park that has slides, pools,
and every other fun water activity you could think of.

This is where Kate and Chocolate saw Sofia
and her family. They had a lot of fun together.

Sofia and Chocolate have a busy visit

This is Sofia. She had Chocolate come home to her house. They had a very bust time. Chocolate hadn't tried so many sports at one house before. They stayed very busy but had a great time!

We have a lot of these in Indianapolis.
 They are great exercise

In the state next to us, Ohio, there is a really fun
water park called Great Wolf Lodge.
Sofia and Kate went there. You will
see more of this park with Kate,

This is Chocolate with Sofia's penguin model. We studied about penguins and made a model as part of the project.
Sofia made a Macaroni Penguin. It was very well done!

Chocolate and Matt

This is Matt. He was excited to have Chocolate come to his house. 

Here, they are playing with some of Matt's toys.

Matt has a little basketball hoop in his room. He put Chocolate in the hoop. Chocolate thought that it was fun to play basketball - even if he was the ball! :)

This is Matt's cat. Chocolate had fun playing with him, too. Here, they are resting after a fun time.

After a very busy and fun day, Chocolate jumped into bed and fell right to sleep!

Chocolate and Kate K.

SNOW. Chocolate had a lot of fun playing with Kate in the snow.
Kate dressed Chocolate so that he would stay nice and warm in the cold weather.

Kate's family went to a friends house to watch a football game.
It is called the Super Bowl. It is the big championship pro football game of the year.
Football is an American sport that lots of boys and men play.

Everyone seems to like to read to Chocolate. :) Maybe that is because we are learning
how to become great readers in first grade and we like to read all of the time. Chocolate enjoys it very much.
